Small 45-minute ballroom and social dance classes for every level, a minute from Honmachi Station, taught by Koji in English and Japanese. First time dancing, or coming on your own? You’ll fit right in.

How It Works

What to Expect

  1. Every level, one classComplete beginners and experienced dancers share the same class, so you can join from your very first visit.
  2. Different partnersPartners change during class, so coming on your own is no problem at all.
  3. Wednesdays go deep, Fridays mix it upWednesday spends the whole month on one dance. Friday brings a different one each week.
  4. Free dance timeEvery Friday, the floor stays open after class for free dancing, at no extra charge.

Questions About Group Classes

Can complete beginners join a group class?

Yes. Every class is open to every level, and you can join straight away, with no trial lesson first.

Do I need to bring a partner?

No. Partners change during class, so coming on your own is no problem at all.

Are the classes taught in English?

Yes. Koji teaches every group class in English and Japanese.

When are the classes?

Wednesdays 20:00–20:45, with one theme dance for the whole month, and Fridays 19:30–20:15, with a different dance each week. Each class is 45 minutes.

How much are group classes?

¥2,000 per class, ¥7,000 for 4 classes, or ¥12,000 a month for as many classes as you like. Prices include tax.
